Crete police have arrested three suspects, all Greek nationals, and seized a large amount of weapons and explosives following raids on Wednesday in the prefectures of Rethymno and Heraklion.
The arms and ammunition were found in an apartment near the center of Heraklion.
Officers found dozens of guns, pistols, hand grenades, TNT, thousands of rounds of ammo, detonators, silencers, and knives in the apartment which belongs to a man already in prison for drug and gun running offenses
