Greece expects more Russian, German tourists in 2016 – TUI promotes Crete in Germany

Greece expects a significant increase in the number of Russian and German tourists in 2016, Deutsche Welle reported.
Egypt and Turkey have so far been the most popular destinations among Russian tourists but after developments seen close to the end of the year both countries were dropped from tour operators’ programmes.
Russians are expected to opt for Greece in 2016 as an alternative to Turkish and Egyptian resorts.
According to estimates, the number of tourists in Greece will increase by 2 million, namely due to visitors from Russia and Germany.

TUI the holiday travel giant is already marketing Crete as a holiday destination to German holiday makers in a new promotional video (in German)
