Chania art show helps those in need

Linda Talbot — The needy of Chania and Athens, including refugees, will be helped by proceeds from“Ideas Unlimited”, an exhibition of art by Hercules Papadakis, Maria Malaxianaki, Linda Talbot and guest artists at the Sabbionara Gallery, Chania, from July 15 to 23.

Medicine may be contributed to Doctors of the World, food to Chania’s Social Kitchen and donations given to The Ark of the World, a shelter for mothers and children in Athens.

There will be evening events, including a performance of  Butoh dance by Maria Malaxianaki. And visitors are invited to take photos of works or events that best express “ideas Unlimited”. Prizes include dinner for two at the Colombo restaurant in Chania. –
