A total of 35 people are to stand trial in connection with the granting of hundreds of unsecured loans by the now defunct Hellenic Postbank (TT) after a Supreme Court prosecutor rejected appeals by eight of the suspects.
The eight are Dimitris Kontominas, the owner of Alpha TV channel and Interamerican insurance company, shipowner Victor Restis, Angelos Filippidis, who is the former chairman of TT, and five former TT employees.
