Many of the Syrian refugees did not abandoned their beloved pets when they fled their homes to find safety in Europe.
17-year-old Aslan Al Hakim from Damascus, Syria is one of these people who took their animals with them on the long journey from Syria, across the Mediterranean Sea and through Europe.
Aslan walked more than 300 miles to escape war-torn Syria with his puppy.
