Reuters — A quake measuring 5.1 struck off the coast of the Crete on Saturday 20:26, Athens Geodynamic Institute reported, but there were no reports of damage or casualties.
Initial reports put the magnitude of the earthquake at 4.8 or 4.9 R
The quake’s epicenter was at sea, 77 of km southwest of Kissamos in western Crete at a depth of 10 km.
Greece and its surrounding region are often rattled by earthquakes at sea, most causing no serious damage.
