The German SNMG-2 flagship and force commander admiral Jörg Klein is believed to be ‘somewhere in the Aegean’.
SNMG -2 comprises four vessels, including the Greek frigate Salamis which is also in the Aegean.
According to local press reports, commander Jörg Klein’s orders have been delayed and it is not known when the border control operations will begin.
