eKathimerini — Police on Crete Friday were investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a 65-year-old man whose body was found in a ditch in the municipality of Viannos.
According to local reports, the 65-year-old left a cafe in the village of Embaros on Thursday night but failed to return home.
Police were seeking to determine whether his death was an accident or if foul play was involved.
