It was confirmed by the Chania coroner that the 52 year old man who was found dead by his tractor in the outskirts of Kakathanes, Kissamos on Friday morning had been shot several times. The forensics analysis indicates that there were two different weapons involved, one of them probably an assault rifle.
Chania homicide unit who investigate the case are hunting for at least two killers who are thought to have ambushed the victim, father of four.
