Four more car accidents occurred in Crete in just a few hours, after a fatal accident at Akrotiri on Saturday evening, when a female motorcyclist hit a wall.
Four young people are injured in hospital as a result.
In Hersonissos, shortly after 3 a.m. on Sunday morning a 55 year old driver lost control of his vehicle and was rescued by firemen who had to cut sections of the car.
A 23 year old man was seriously injured in Ierapetra shortly before 6 a.m. on Sunday morning.
In Siteia a 15 year old girl was transferred to the General Hospital of Heraklion, after an accident with a motorcycle.
Around 7 a.m. on Sunday morning, close to the junction of Kalami, two cars collided for unknown reasons, resulting to two injuries who were taken to to Chania hospital. The most seriously injured of the two, a 27 year old man, was later transferred by air ambulance to an Athens hospital where he is recovering in intensive care after a lengthy operation.
In each case the cause of accident is being investigated by the traffic police
