Traffic accidents in the month of March decreased by 13.1 percent compared to the same period last year, according to data from the Hellenic Statistical Authority (ELSTAT), but the number of the people that died on roads in Greece rose by 18.8 percent.
In the 781 accidents reported in March, 57 people died, 86 were seriously injured (up 6.2 percent from 2014) and 848 suffered minor injuries (down by 14.6 percent y/y).
