Chania Post — A mother and daughter on holiday in Chania were injured by a falling lamp post on Saturday at Koum Kapi while they were sitting at a seafront cafe.
The injured visitors were taken to Chania Hospital for treatment.
One of them is believed to have suffered head injuries.
Vice Mayor of Chania, Mr. Mihalis Vlahakis, immediately ordered the Municipal Technical Services to check all street lamps of Koum Kapi.
