Crete Post — A fire broke out in a single storey house at Gavalochori in Apokoronas, in the early hours of Friday morning.
A fire crew and two engines from Vrises Fire Station – managed to extinguish the fire soon after they were called at the scene.
By that time the fire had caused serious damage to the house which was unoccupied at the time.
