Crete flight makes emergency landing in Athens

Chania Post — A Transavia flight  from Amsterdam to Heraklion made  an emergency landing at Athens Eleftherios Venizelos international airport on Friday night.

The pilot told to the air traffic control of Athens’ Airport that the the smoke alert  light was on indicating a problem in the plane’s toilet.

The aircraft landed at 22.50, firemen checked it, but they found nothing.

After an hour’s delay for safety checks by the security services the flight continued to Heraklion where it landed 45 minutes.
