eKathimerini –A Thessaloniki bus driver who forced two African men off his vehicle, leading to him being convicted of racism, had his suspended prison sentence reduced on Friday from 10 months to eight.
An appeals court in the northern city rejected his appeal against the original verdict.
The driver claimed that he did not force the migrants off the bus and denied that he told them he was a Golden Dawn member.
Witnesses, however, contradicted his claims.
His prison term is suspended for three years.
The driver was also ordered to pay a 1,000-euro fine.
