During a press conference Monday, Chania prefecture farmers announced that they will join the national campaign of farmers by blocking roads in Chania. A mass rally has been called for Wednesday at Chania municipal market square .
The point of the tractor blockade will be decided after the end of the rally (12:00?) but it is likely to include Aptera junction as in previous years, requiring traffic to and from Chania to be diverted through Malaxa.
Farmers blockaded Heraklion Arhanes junction on Saturday, and the junction of Lasithi Oropedioin on Monday morning.
