ANA- MPA — A British man found dead in his home in Corfu on September 28 appears to have been strangled, a local coroner said on Thursday.
It is not clear who may have killed the 66-year-old, who is thought to have arrived arrived on the island on September 26, or why.
“All the signs that point to murder are there,” said coroner Yiannis Aivatidis, who informed the local police of his findings. The coroner places the time of death of the 66 year old man two days before the discovery of the body , on 26 September.
British authorities have also asked for a copy of the coroner’s report.
