Anne-Marie Clough, a resident of Crete, has just published a children’s book about two Cretan stray cats Harry and Hermione. The story follows the fortunes of the two cats from the time they were tiny kittens and describes how they survived when they were abandoned to fend for themselves in the streets of Heraklion. Anne- Marie hopes her book will help to promote the cause of the many animal charities that work in Crete.
A third of the cover price of the book will be donated to VOCAL, the cat charity in Agios Nikolaos.
