Parakritika.gr — Chania mayor Tasos Vamvoukas with officers of the council is visiting Barcelona this week to complete the twinning of Chania with the Catalan capital as part of the Mayors Adapt programme.
Mayors Adapt is offering cities across Europe the opportunity to take part in peer-to-peer exchanges that aim to increase municipalities’ capacity and knowledge to adapt to climate change.
Chania will draw on the considerable experience of Barcelona city council to prepare its own action plan for sustainableθα energy and climate change.
