The ‘suspended’ movement, the system of prepaid food and refreshments that wait in shops and cafes for those in need, is spreading in Apokoronas.
Antonis Lourakis’ general store BAKALOGATOS in Gavalochori and Kafkalas butchers in Georgioupoli are the latest to join – and the list is growing by the day.
It is worth noting that there are more than 500 families in Apokoronas are already receiving help from the council’s welfare agency.
