US president’s staff consider refuelling stopover on Crete

ProtoThema — President Trump is reportedly considering a stopover landing at the U.S naval air base of Souda Bay in Crete, over the weekend on the way to Singapore where he will meet with North Korea’s leader Kim Jong-Un for nuclear talks.

The Air Force 1, the US presidential aircraft, will need to be refuelled, and US services are considering the possibility of a stopover on Crete. Crete is one of the possible refuelling options for Airforce 1the other being Naples.
