Taxi driver stabbed by tourists on Crete

eKathimerini — Three Serbian tourists were detained for allegedly beating and stabbing a taxi driver after refusing to pay for a ride in the area of Hersonissos, in Heraklion in the early hours of Thursday.

According to initial reports, the three men, who were under the influence of alcohol, quarreled with the taxi driver before they hit him and one of them stabbed him.

The victim was being treated at a local health facility, while the three suspects were detained.
