Sputnik – The first day of the trade fair , held within the framework of the Thessaloniki international exhibition, will be devoted to agricultural cooperation between Russia and Greece. On Saturday, Russian and Greek companies are expected to sign a number of bilateral agreements.
Sunday will be devoted to energy and modern technology. A Russian delegation is expected to visit Greek companies that are working on the development of solar cells. In May, Russia and Greece adopted a declaration on strengthening bilateral ties during a visit of Russian President Vladimir Putin to Athens. A joint intergovernmental declaration on economic partnership was also signed during that visit.
