Motorbiking artist leaves impression in Elounda

By Steve Bott –Motor biking artist  Stephen Perry has left a lasting impression or two of Elounda following his 4,000-mile round trip to Crete.

Stephen, a 55-year-old motor cycle enthusiast from Swansea in South Wales, rode his bike across Europe to Elounda in Lassithi Crete to visit his sister Debbie recently.

Shortly after his arrival however it transpired that Stephen also happens to be an accomplished water colour artist. Word got around the town and he was persuaded to paint several pictures of the area.

They were put on display in Lynne McDonald’s bookshop Eklektos, (opposite Mario’s Bar on the hill going out of Elounda from the main square).

The paintings generated a lot of interest and they can still be seen at Lynne’s shop, which is open from 10am through till 7pm seven days a week.

Stephen is now touring Europe on his motor bike and was last heard of in Italy.
