Family of young man desperate to bring him back to the UK after crash in Corfu

The Mirror — The family of a young man left in a coma after a horrific quad bike crash in Greece are desperate to bring him back home to the UK.

Harri Jones a Coleg Cambria student from Wrexham, North Wales, was hit by a lorry while riding a quad bike  at the Corfu Kavos resort leaving him with a fractured skull.

He is currently in an induced coma in a hospital . The doctors have said that his injuries aren’t life threatening but he will be in a coma for the next 10-20 days. His parents don’t know if he will be able to see out of one of his eyes again.

An online fundraising campaign on the Just Giving website has now been set up by Shane Tarpey to bring Harri home.

The appeal has already raised more than £7,500 just a day after it was set up, reports the Daily Post.

“Thank you everyone for the support so far it’s been absolutely incredible and Harri’s family really do appreciate what we’re doing for them.”
