Greece is the standout destination for British holidaymakers this summer, said Thomas Cook.
Peter Fankhauser, chief executive, said he believed the growing demand this summer would help secure the firm a strong second half. He said: ‘We are seeing strong customer demand across most of our markets.
‘Greece continues to be the standout destination… while customers are also seeking out smaller European destinations like Cyprus and Bulgaria, as well as travelling further afield.
