Aegean 4.9R quake felt in Crete

Greek Reporter — A magnitude 4.9 eqrthquake on the Richter scale, occurred in the sea surrounding the islands of Santorini, Milos and Amorgos on 18.53 on Wednesday.

The quake’s epicenter was recorded 36 kilometres east of the Adamantas and Milos islands and 100 kilometres south of Ermoupolis, the capital of Syros island.

The earthquake was felt by many islanders, as far away as  Heraklion and Chania according to local reports.
